A NIGHT WITH NORAH
With her I walked under
The unblinking stare
Of a jealous moon
On the path clad
In scattered corolla
Stars mocked the moon
Winking rhythmically
To tunes piped by
The silent night
I heard in her footsteps
The sound of the flowing honey
That got my heart flooded
Her breath filled
The cold air with nectar
Calling butterflies to an endless feast
Her shadow, a rainbow
Followed us
Hailing her majesty
In whispered odes
Odes dug from my heart-
Moon never ceased calling
The sun to hurry up as
I dreamt the moment
With my newfound friend
Never to end
