DEMONCRAZY
The demon
Of thoughts and tongues
The insane spirit
Of politics

cast truth
into the flames of hades
     slayed decency
      in the battle for survival

demolished
the national temple---
      ostracised patriotism

built partisan shrines--
      emphasised the doctrine
      of sycophancy

started the lip war
       made insults the greetings
        of rivals....

            Demoncrazy
he who lies best
       wins the battle of blame
whiles problems reproduce
parasites sucking
        the nations blood
and monsters tormenting her soul

           Demoncrazy
deaf is the possessor of power
blind the seeker!
